These bags have been hand-crafted by block-printing cotton (done by one of the oldest families in Jaipur), a technique that has been passed down from generation to generation of artisans in India.

The beautiful patterns on the fabrics are created using wooden blocks that are hand-carved using basic tools & manual drawings. Once the blocks are ready, they are dipped in natural dyes and the color patterns are transferred on the fabric. Each designs involves multiple blocks & dyes which have to be carefully aligned to create a beautiful & colorful final product.
